About the School

The Govt. Secondary School Mus is the oldest and prestigious School in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands. A Govt Agent Meteorological Observatory V. Solomon started the life mission school at Mus in 1896 with only 12 boys. Solomon continued to run the school till his death in 1909. His wife Anbu along with John Richardson continue to run the school till her death at Port Blair in 1920. John Richardson then took over the charge of the school till occupation of the Island by the Japanese in 1942.
